What can I do to help?
There are several ways to help:
-Attend the Public Hearing on July 20, 2026 at Manchester Justice Center, 200 Highlands Blvd. Bring a friend. We need to pack the house.
-Spread the word about this Special Use Permit to friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers. Encourage them to sign the petition and attend the Public Hearing.
-Call and email the Mayor and Board of Aldermen (see home page for contact info).
-Sign the petition here: openpetition.org/szcvk . Comments will be submitted to the City to be read at the Public Hearing.

Why should I care?
-This isn't about just one building--it's about protecting Manchester's history, preserving our neighborhoods, and ensuring future development reflects our community's values. The Special Use Permit would also violate several aspects of the city's zoning code. Don't let history become another auto shop. Your voice matters. The Board of Aldermen will hear public comments before making its decision, and strong community participation can help shape the outcome.
